Progress, Blizzcon and Youtube for the hell of it.

Ok, so no class for me today – meh. My sleeping pattern has been wrecked by this ridiculous cough I have. Anyway, I finished my Profile Page, got a basic design going(finally took a real look @ some CSS3 and I’m extremely happy with what I’ve found. Its nothing major and I’m probly gona need to make an IE fix now.. Whos kidding, its a PHP project so its based on my code and my technique. Anyway. Now that my profile page and Memberlist pages are done(save for setting up the post counts etc).
I just have authentication to do and I’m done for what I had aimed to have done this weekend and the weekends just getting started! So I’ve definitely caught up and will be on schedule to finish on time.

On another note, Blizzcon is about to start tomorrow! I would so majorly love to go. I’ll be keeping tabs on MMO Champion to check out whats happening there, I want to know if theres gona be a new WoW xpac any time soon, and get some more Diablo 3 Info!

Site Changes & PHP

Ok, so I’m at a point of tweaking out this site to be just how I want it, next things to work on are my contact, about and portfolio pages.
I’ll be building the contact form script very soon, I can execute PHP via a Wordpress Plugin so YUS lol.

My other PHP project is well.. going slowly. hopefully this weekend sees some real progress. I want to have a fully functioning user system and admin section. the ability to add sections and Forums for admins, and begin working on getting posts and topics involved.

My Descent Into Possible Madness

Nah, I’m not going mad(yet at least). Being a student is an awesome life. Definitely something I enjoy, laid back, somewhat cruisy, and from time to time, stressful.

Heres my problem of the moment – I live with a flatmate who for the first 6 months of the year was a pain in the butt to live with, but I stuck with it because I didnt want to go through the process of meeting another flatmate and finding out theyre worse, so I put up with it.

Recently, an extremely good friend of mine flew some 500-700 kilometres(alot in NZ) to grab his stuff(he used to be a flattie but he moved out because he didnt have anything more to study this year). Anyway, back to the flatmate from hell. I came back from my 5 1/2 month hols and found the flat relatively tidy, a first.

After this, she became a perfect flatmate(her and her boyfriend who moved in just before I left, something I was quietly against) anyway, back to the fact my friend was down. before he came I made a very small mess and she basically dictated to me, through notes on the walls to clean the dishes. I decided not to. I dont like being told what to do through notes by anyone but a client, my tutor or an employer, this had to stop so I didnt do the dishes.

She arranged a flat meeting with a really nice mediator lady and we chatted about various things happening in the small university apartment village I live in. The whole time they looked like they wanted to scream “ALISTAIRS BEEN A SHITTY FLATMATE” but instead they said nothing.

Now heres the problem, I went to my friends to grab the gmod files and the HL2 files I needed, came back and had a note on my door. I dont know why they want me in the office. I have no mail, I paid my bill and I havent done anything wrong save those 3 dishes and the mess me and jimi have made in the lounge over the last week, but boys will be boys right? especially geeks!

PHP Project Status Update -> Proposal Currently Finished. Now to Dreamweaver to spend many fun hours coding PHP classes etc!

MMOs, PHP and a stupid PROPOSAL

Ok… I’m gona start with the fun stuff – lately I’ve picked up a new MMO thanks to my friend jimi(chur bro ur an ass for getting me into another game but wotever) Its called Atlantica and its by NDOORS and its pretty fucking good thus far. Its kind of like an MMO Final Fantasy with Rappelz type graphics so its fun. I’d suggest checking it out.

Now, the 2nd dilemma at the moment is $this->PHPProject, I have a PHP project coming up and I’m looking @ making a kind of Nation Community Site for Guilds of Seperate Nations to Interact within the atlantica Universe, obviously its still in the pre development stages and will slowly be prototyped over the next week or so, leading to a final development and then a product that is finished sometime within the next month or so hopefully.

I’d like to test it out on the members of my guild DemonicEmpire and my Nation Syndicate if I can, but its unlikely I can get the Nation to test it, but heres hoping.

Anyway – I have a proposal for the project to write, go check that game, its fucking amazing and totally worth it!
